Mammie paper towel holder insert

This was painted for a customer that is collecting a lot of my paper towel holder inserts. She wanted a Mammie doll so I took a pattern from The Sugar Bucket and adapted it too fit the holder. It turned out pretty cute in person.

I just finished this for a customer.It is a paper towel holder and turned out really cute. She got 6 inserts for the holder. I will post the others soon.

This picture was taken at 1:00 in the morning at my son's house in Kaysville, Utah. I went down to baby sit the 3 smallest grandkids while my son Craig and his wife Brandi and the two oldest children, Kelsey and Makayla got to go on a cruise ship for 8 days. Well when they got home even at that late My beautiful daughter in law Brandi could not wait to hold her babies after 9 days. So we got the whole house up and this is the reunion picture. I sure won't forget this fun time.

Here is a black bread box that has removable panel for different pictures. I like doing a lot of inter changing items. I get most of them from Plum Purdy. The rest of the designs are on order and will be up with in the next few weeks.

I have some dolls started so watch for those.....

Well I am not a blogger so I rarely do this. Things are doing great up here in northern, Idaho. I have applied with my sister in law to do a large show in Midway, Utah. About 30 minutes from Salt Lake City. It is a huge huge show and I have done it in the past and it is a blast. It is more like a town event. Your products are juried every year and it is completely home made items only. We find out March 15 if we get to do the show. I have already started to paint for it. Have to cause if we wait til we find out we never have enough product. We had to put our dog Annie of 13 years down last fall. Well my son and his family decided to get us new puppy for my birthday in October. Wow I forgot what handfuls they can be. But we love him and he is a sweetheart. (most of the time). I post a picture of him soon.
Been busy with making lots of bunnies for my site also.

Hello everyone, We just finished watching Avatar.. Wow for the visual effects. It was fun and entertaining.

I am busy making dolls and Santa's and snowmen for my site. Oh yes and some scarecrows. I am making some special orders for some great customers. Sheryl Peterson if you see this I am still waiting for the lamps. I am going to look for another source.

I am painting some changeable seasons tissue holders. They are really fun so watch for them.

I have my some of my grandkids coming in June to stay a week. Yayyyyyyyyyyy. This is the picture of them. They are all coming to stay with Grandma except for the baby who was born in December. So I will have my hands full but in a very fun way.

This is just 5 of my grandkids. I will be posting more pictures of all of my grandkids here real soon. I have 12 of them and one more to come in June.

Hey everyone I am making lots of new stuff.. Lots of Santa's and lots scarecrows and snowmen. They are stuffed dolls. I have lots of great patterns from You are special doll patterns. Also some fun stuffed dolls from Heidi Markish designs. So watch for these.................This doll and her little sister is You are Special patterns. She is 36 inches and her sis is 16 inches...

Spring is almost here

Spring is just around the corner and its time to plant seeds (we already have) and get your yard ready for summer. We like to spend a lot of time in the garden and on our decks eating breakfast lunch and dinner this time of year so I am excited when all the birds start coming back to the area because we know it will be warm enough soon to do all the outside things. Every year over Labor day I have been doing a very large craft show in Midway Utah called Swiss day's and although it was a lot of fun to do the show the getting ready for it all year long was really hard. I usually sold out of my product so I spent most of the year painting for it and my hubby Kenny spent most of his evenings after he got home from work cutting out all of my projects. Well this year I did not sign up for Swiss days because we decided to consentrate on the web site so we are excited to hopefully have more time to go camping and 4 wheeling.
I love yard art and will be posting a bunch of yard art on my site and here some pictures of some of the yard art.

Bird feeders

Wow, I just finished my bird feeders, they are so cute, if you haven't already, check them out on my web site, they will go pretty fast so don't be bashful, of course I can always make more but the birds will be out soon and will appreciate your handouts. Now I am working on some bag stuffing dolls, maybe I should clarify, they are a doll that you can put your grocery bags in for future use, anyway they will be really cute. Well I best get to it, more to come soon.

Hi, this is my new blog, I am really excited about it. I work all day painting or making dolls and I am looking forward to relaxing and writing in my blog, I plan to talk about various crafts I have been working on and letting my customers know whats going on with their order and what freebies I have going on with special orders!

And of course I have to talk about the grand kids, I don't see them nearly often enough but when I do we take full advantage.
